FRAMEWORK FOR PASSENGER TRANSPORT SERVICES
 FOR VULNERABLE CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS

The London Borough of Brent is seeking expressions of interest from companies that wish to be considered for inclusion on a tender list for the provision of a framework for passenger transport services for vulnerable children, young people and adults for the London Boroughs of Barnet, Brent, Ealing and Hounslow, and for other public bodies across London that may wish to make use of these services.  It is estimated that the value of the services required will be £46M over 4 years.   

Vehicles required may include private hire cars, estate cars, Multi-Purpose Vehicles, minibuses and coaches, including specially-adapted versions for the carriage of wheelchairs.  Journeys are mostly within North and North West London but some longer distance journeys will be required. The services required may include the provision of passenger attendants and the provision of regular and ad hoc journeys.

Bidders will be required to complete a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) which the London Borough of Brent and its partners will use to evaluate their economic and financial standing, technical capacity and ability to ensure they meet the minimum service requirements.   Expressions of interest must be received by 12 noon on 31 October 2011.
