London Consultation Response
London has had in the main, sensible regulations and sound legislation since the licensing process started in the Capital some 10 years ago.
Some of the proposals in this consultation would destroy that position offering much extra bureaucracy and increased costs, in the process threatening small businesses, livelihoods and the potential supply of vehicles, particularly in parts of London that depend on Private Hire.
The response from the LPHCA Members was unanimous in the rejection of many proposals that would take the industry backwards.
