LPHCA CRB Review Campaign
Following many years of pressure from the LPHCA regarding the woeful CRB checking process, we are delighted that the Government review has recognised the need for change.
The CRB system needs to be matched against the safety needs of the passengers especially the young and vulnerable with the appropriate Level of checking for drivers in Taxi and Private Hire with the ‘turnaround times’ for drivers waiting for CRB applications unacceptable.
