Protecting your business and its Information
You can’t open a paper these days or watch the news without hearing about a security breach.Whether its laptops stolen from vehicles containing confidential information, or employees leaking information on the internet, we’re faced with the fact that sensitive information is getting lost and may well fall into the wrong hands – doing irreparable damage to the business in question.
At the cinema, action films suggest a high degree of
confidentiality goes on in the field of espionage.
Mission Impossible has a tape which self destructs in
five seconds once the instructions have been heard
and James Bond receives information
‘for his eyes only’, which is stamped ‘confidential
information’ or ‘top secret’.Yet do we take the same
care in the workplace?

All too often the issue of protecting an employer’s
business interests fall by the wayside as other
management issues, such as volume of work and
tight deadlines, take priority.
